  We just got back from an incredible family vacation at America's Outdoor Adventure Park in Jay, Oklahoma, and it definitely delivered on the excitement our kids had been building up since we booked it back in December! This all-inclusive family resort offers something for everyone, UTV trails, racing clinics, a huge swimming complex, go-karts, a petting zoo, RC track, arcade, and more, all right on-site. Even better, it's pet-friendly, so Capone got to come along and be part of the adventure too! I'll admit, I was pushed well outside my comfort zone more than once. Thankfully, my husband is a much more adventurous (and talented) driver than I am. We climbed hills I never would have imagined tackling, and while I can confidently say I'll stick to being a spectator in the future, the kids absolutely loved every minute of it! Like many places these days, the resort is still working through a few growing pains. We learned that new ownership recently took over and the property only reopened in April. While a few extra staff members may have helped things run a little more smoothly, what they may have lacked in numbers they more than made up for in hospitality. Every single employee from the front desk team and UTV guides to the restaurant staff, lifeguards, go-kart attendants, and custodial crew, were genuinely friendly, helpful, and committed to making sure guests were having a great experience. Most importantly, this week gave us exactly what we needed: uninterrupted time together as a family. Lots of laughs, great adventures, plenty of memories, maybe a few tears (on my end, I really am not cut-out for the offroading thrills), and quality time with the family.

  SOOOOO FUN and such a unique experience! This was completely different from my family’s normal vacation, and I truly cannot recommend AOA enough. The all inclusive setup is a huge benefit. Food was served three times a day, and we really enjoyed the lunch and dinner options. Breakfast was more casual and buffet style. My family was not overly impressed with breakfast, but we definitely managed. The kids menu at dinner was great though. My kids could not get enough of the mac and cheese and burgers! I was a little disappointed there was no kids menu at lunch, but it wasn’t a deal breaker. Our cabin was perfect. Clean, cool, modern, and functional. We had five people and booked the 2 King Suite. It turned out to actually be one king bedroom and bathroom with connecting doors to a mirrored room on the other side, which ended up working perfectly for our family. Our favorite activity, without question, was the go karts! Wait times were minimal to none. Even when there was a line, it was never longer than about 10 minutes. They had six carts available, so plenty of us could go together, plus a smaller cart that worked perfectly for my 6 year old. We went back and did this activity multiple times during our stay. The kids also loved archery and axe throwing, and were surprisingly good at both! Horseshoes were another story 😂. My two youngest were able to ride the little electric side by sides around the activity area, so while they were waiting for turns at other activities, they could cruise around and stay entertained. The side by side adventures were an absolute blast. We had never done anything remotely like this before and enjoyed it so much that we scheduled three rides. Everyone from my 6 year old to my husband had a fabulous time. The pool was good, although the lazy river was maybe a little too lazy because there really wasn’t enough current to move you around. The kids also spent a ton of time in the arcade, which is such a wonderful addition. It is located in the lobby in a secure room, so the kids could play safely while the adults relaxed right outside with a provided puzzle, board game, or cocktail. The movie room and giant yard games were another cool touch, and the shooting excursion was SO fun and thrilling. What really made the experience stand out though was the staff. They were unbelievable. So friendly, accommodating, and genuinely at your service. We were especially blown away by Ashton, Casey, Kayson, Brooke, and several others whose names I unfortunately didn’t catch. We were admittedly a little high maintenance during our stay 😂, and the staff completely earned our respect and gratitude. A few minor things I would recommend knowing before you go: There are a lot of bugs outside. We don’t live in the area and were definitely not prepared for that, so bring bug spray! You also 100% need some type of vehicle to get around the resort. It is not realistic to walk between all of the different areas. There are no food options between the scheduled meal times, so if your family likes to snack, definitely bring snacks and drinks for your room. The only place we found to grab a drink was in the lobby. It would be really nice to have some type of drink option near the pool as well. Those few things are very minor compared to the overall experience. I cannot recommend AOA enough. It was fun, adventurous, different, and gave our family an experience we normally would never have chosen for ourselves. We made some amazing memories and I will absolutely be recommending this place to anyone looking for their next family vacation!

  We had an absolutely amazing experience at American Outdoor Adventures in Jay, Oklahoma! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly accommodating, welcoming, and kind. We were celebrating our anniversary, and they surprised us with an unexpected upgrade, which made our trip feel even more special. The excursions were a blast and created memories we'll never forget. We participated in the racing clinic, trail rides, night rides, and the guided fishing excursion. Every activity was fun and led by knowledgeable staff who truly wanted everyone to have a great time. The guided fishing excursion was especially memorable. The fishing guide was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and helpful throughout the trip. He took the time to share tips, answer questions, and made sure everyone was having a great experience. Thanks to his expertise, my husband caught two Spoonbill fish weighing around 30 pounds each! It was such an exciting experience and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Our guide's enthusiasm and dedication really made the excursion exceptional. During our downtime, we loved relaxing by the pool and spending time with Eyore and Gary, the adorable mini donkeys. The mini farm was one of my favorite parts of the resort! Feeding and petting the goats, mini donkeys, Highland cows, and chickens brought so much joy and genuinely made my heart happy. The only thing that wasn’t ideal was the construction still going on and the leaking lazy river. This all-inclusive riding resort was a good time. Between the outstanding hospitality, exciting activities, beautiful animals, and relaxing atmosphere, it was the perfect getaway. We had so much fun and can't wait to come back. This was a unique and unforgettable outdoor adventure!

  My husband and I chose to come here to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint! The accommodations were clean and very comfortable. The staff throughout the park were beyond amazing! It's easy to see how much they love their job and enjoy giving guests the best experience possible. The concierge Ashton went above and beyond to schedule everything we wanted to do while here. We also paid for the premium shooting experience with Roo Tactical gun range which was fun and way beyond our expectations. We would pay to do it again in a heartbeat! The included food served at the lodge was gourmet and delicious with choices for every palate. All the servers were friendly and gave great service. All of the trail guides were attentive and engaged which made each trail ride enjoyable and safe! We were fortunate enough to experience the track, where Josh, one of the guides really spent time and taught us about the safest way to operate and manage the track making this an unforgettable experience! Thank you America's Outdoor Adventure Park for the best and most memorable anniversary that we will never forget!

  Our trip to America’s Outdoor Adventure Park was amazing! My husband and I went for the all inclusive weekend trip. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our cabin was cozy and clean. There was a charcuterie board waiting for us that was delicious. I was apprehensive about the all you can eat buffet but the food was great. We had a blast at the race tracks driving and ended our day relaxing in the lazy river. I highly recommend AOA park for your next trip!

  My wife and I just spent 2 awesome days at AOA Park last week! We loved it! From working with Cameron in reservations, to Jaxson with our SxS rental our trip was seamless. The check in process was easy, our RZR rental orientation simple, and our camping experience (primitive camping) was perfect. The RZR trails and tracks were a lot of fun, felt like there were miles of wooded trails along creek beds to explore. The tracks were fun (a bit washed out in places). The BBQ dinner on Thursday night was delicious (more food than we could ever eat) and the staff at the restaurant were so nice. Even had great live music that night. We cannot wait to come back and ride the trails and tracks again! Overall a great experience, this place has a ton of potential! Highly recommend!!

  We are currently on our way home and I have to say we loved it! There were so many great things about our stay that we loved. All the kids were able to enjoy so much and the adults also enjoyed activities. The sxs guided tour was great. We are used to being in one side by side normally, so I was definitely not in my comfort zone but our guide did great with instructions. My other half got to enjoy doing the daring hills while I could take it easy and go at my speed. A couple other highlights from our trip that everyone enjoyed was the go carts, animals, and arcade. All the workers were great helping us and our kids feel very welcome and confident in whatever activity they were taking part in. Our cabin was great and fit our family of 6 plus our furry friend amazing!! We were all very comfortable and felt at home! There were some areas that we feel they will work out but over all it was great vacation and we can't wait to go back!! Trip type: Vacation. Travel group: Family. Rooms: 5, Service: 5, Location: 5. Rooms: We had a cabin for 6. It was very clean and comfy!! We normally have issues sleeping but the beds were so comfortable. Food & drinks: Breakfast, lunch, and dinners were all part of package. Some of our kid were able to branch out and try new things.

  Our family of 4 had the most amazing experience. Our biggest wow was the staff. Every single staff member we came in contact with went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Ex- we arrived between meal hours and the kitchen still prepared us lunch to go. The chef brought some “in the works” meal bites out to try. The lifeguards offered pool toys to our boys. A waitress offered to deliver dinner to our kids when she found out they were in the arcade. The trails far exceeded our expectations. When they say all inclusive, they mean it. We expected to be nickel and dimed to death like Great Wolf Lodge but even the arcade games were free to play. Cannot recommend this place enough!! We will be back this year!

  After reading negative reviews we were a little worried before our visit. However, we had a completely opposite experience. We came during Labor Day weekend, and since there was no big event going on we almost had the place to ourselves. Regarding trail riding, we had a blast. the dirt track alone we spent a lot of time riding around. Then we found out about more trails from somebody at the restaurant. Those trails were SO fun, lots of creek riding and a bit of climbing. We rode for several hours at the trails. The restaurant and pool staff is very nice and the food is pretty good! The buffet menu changes every night and they also have an all-day menu (pizza was amazing). The pool is a great size and it was clean and empty! They have a splash pad for little kids. Overall, we had an amazing weekend and there is stuff to do for the whole family. The staff was also telling us they are putting in a cigar lounge and coffee bar eventually.

  I’ve been to plenty of resorts for family vacations, but AOAP hits different. It’s got that small-town heart with big adventure energy. I've never driven a Polaris SxS but Jaxon made us feel so comfortable with the whole process! Can’t wait to come back for another all-inclusive weekend, what a COOL concept!

  This place is amazing. There are probably 100 staff that we came in contact with and every one was friendly and helpful. We booked the luxury cabin and it was comfy and relaxing. Food is 5star quality. Most dinners had so much food I couldn't finish or didn't order dessert. The breakfast and lunch are great quality but a eat and go vibe because you aren't here to sit around. The trail rides and race track guides were well trained and so helpful. I felt very at ease riding. We did ax throwing, archery, smores, movie night, corn hole and were never bored. Over 4 hours of kart time a day was such a value. I can't wait to see what's coming up. We will for sure be coming back. We made great friends every ride and even started having dinners together from people all over the country.

  If you’ve seen the ads on social media, trust me…they still don’t do this place justice! We spent three incredible days off-roading, soaking up the fun, and enjoying amazing food from start to finish. Huge shoutout to Kyle, Amanda, Cameron, and Marcus for making every trail ride an adventure! From three day rides, two Disney excursions, a night ride, and even a race clinic, every experience was unique, exciting, and packed with fun. The entire team went above and beyond to make sure everyone stayed safe, comfortable, and having a blast. Even flat tires were handled quickly so the fun never had to stop! The food was fantastic every single day, so thank you to the Chef, kitchen team, and awesome wait staff for keeping everyone fueled and happy. The go-kart crew kept the excitement going, while The Herd crew made spending time with the animals unforgettable. Alistar and Brandy, the Highland cows, completely stole our hearts…although Gary the donkey may have officially won the title of fan favorite. That guy is a superstar. Every single person we met was kind, welcoming, and constantly checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly. Even during the transition to new ownership and a few small kinks being worked out, the experience was absolutely unforgettable. We are already looking forward to coming back!

  We drove down from WI after seeing this place on Facebook. We rented one of the basic cabins for 2 adults. What an absolute blast!! We picked the perfect weekend where we got to complete every excursion. The guided tour was intense, going up and down the steep hills was so thrilling and like nothing I’ve experienced before. (I wouldn’t recommend this as your first activity if you aren’t experienced with UTV but great if you are!) The race clinic was a completely different experience. The tracks are fun for all levels of drivers. The night tour was a lot of fun! Going through the trails after dark adds a new level to the hill climbing. On our last day, we did the trip to Disney! I am so glad we stuck around complete it. Again, so different from the other experiences. You get to do some trail riding, rock and hill climbing, mud bogging and river bed driving. Highly recommend this resort as a couples get away ❤️. Lastly the food, omg! It was so delicious. The braised beef fell apart when you lightly touched it with your fork. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of items each morning. I can’t say enough good things about this place and we are already working on coming up with plan to come back with friends!

Our guides, Cody and Marcus, were absolutely incredible. They made us feel safe the entire time while still keeping the energy high and the adventure going. You can tell they genuinely care about giving guests an unforgettable experience. Our favorite ride was the OK Disney Trails, hands down! The views were breathtaking, and the ride itself had the perfect mix of adrenaline and fun. It was one of those experiences you don’t stop talking about afterward. AOA truly exceeded all our expectations. They’ve thought of everything, from the rides to all the extra activities. The free arcade, archery, ax throwing, animal encounters, and more made it feel like there was something for everyone. If you’re even thinking about going, just do it. You won’t regret it!
